ORC is a special form of catalytic carbon which has been processed to have additional pores on its surface. This gives the carbon improved capacity and the ability to reduce more complex chemical molecules faster than standard GAC. This makes it ideal for reducing chloramines and complex molecules.
Polyphosphate will help reduce scale from forming in soft to moderately hard water.
Rate at 20 microns
This is a refillable cartridge, it holds approximately 2kg of ORC catalytic carbon media and 500g polyphosphate scale inhibitor in the top of the filter.
Cartridge can be refilled several times before replacing.
Refills available in 2kg bags of ORC carbon and 1kg of the Phosphate media.
Dimensions are 510mm high by 115mm across.
These filters have an endless shelf life if unused, so buy in bulk and save.
