This is a Genuine 3M™ filtration system designed to replace older Puretec filter units using QT12R filters.
It is delivers a fine level of filtration, high chemical reduction capacity, and great tasting water at a more affordable price than a genuine Puretec QT12 water filter system with the QT12R.

The conversion kit uses John Guest style push in fittings, so installation is a matter of pushing your existing tubing into the inlet and outlet of the filter head.
This system comes with a genuine 3M™ VH3 Nep head and 1 Micron 3M™ HC351-S filter, which can reduce a wide range of contaminants including chlorine, chloramines, sediment and volatile organic compounds.
The HC351-S also reduce scale, which makes it superior to the Puretec QT12R for users in a hard water area.

Under Sink Puretec QT12R Conversion System
The Puretec QT12R Under Sink conversion system uses the HC351s filter, which has a sediment screen, a 1 micron coconut carbon block and polyphosphate for scale reduction. HC351s filters will reduce:
- Sediment including Sand, Silt, Algae, Dirt, Rust and Metal Particles
- Chlorine and Chloramines
- Dangerous disinfection by-products including Trihalomethanes
- Chemical pesticides, herbicides, and fertilisers
- PFAs
- Petrochemicals
- Bad Taste and Odours
- Parasitic Cysts including Cryptosporidium, Cyclospora, Cayetanensis & Giardia.
- Scale Build up (when using HC351-S)
This system uses 3M’s™ ingenious Sanitary Quick Change System. This makes changing your water filter as easy as changing a lightbulb. You just need to turn the filter to the left and pull down to disengage it. The head will automatically shut off the water supply as the filter is removed. Putting the new filter in is just as easy — just insert and turn to the right.
Every time you change your filter, you will be replacing the o-rings, so there is less risk of leaks occurring and less expense.
The dimensions of the cartridge in the head is 305mm x 85mm wide. (you will need an extra 50mm below the system to remove the filter cartridge).

This gives you incredible flexibility in terms of filter system capacity, filter fineness, and the types of contaminants removed. - Sanitary Quick Change System
The quick change system on the VH3 Nep heads makes it easier than ever to change your filters. Also, as the o-rings are attached to the filter, you won’t need to additional expense or hassle of replacing Puretec o-rings.
